MARCH 2020 Conversations, CANCELLED

For information about the COVID-19 and the effects for MS patients, please visit the What to Know page on NMSS.

Based on the CDCs guidance, the Society is erring on the side of caution and canceling all in-person programs, wellness and activity classes, and self-help group meetings for the remainder of March.
The National MS Society is carefully monitoring developments related to coronavirus (COVID-19) as your safety and health are the top priority. While the risk of exposure/infection remains low for the general public, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advised that people with serious chronic health conditions are at higher risk of getting sick from COVID-19. The CDC’s guidance can be found here.
We encourage you to visit the Society’s website for the latest information and updates about COVID-19 including:
  • Special considerations for people living with multiple sclerosis
  • What to do if you have symptoms
  • Tips to protect yourself and those around you
  • Precautions we are taking at events and programs
We appreciate your understanding. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to an MS Navigator if you have any questions or concerns.  Please learn more about anxiety and coping around COVD-19 by listening to the latest episode of Real Talk MS at
