WE’RE MAKING A LIST & CHECKING IT TWICE!
Our Sunday, March 22nd Family & Friends event is right around the corner so at our last meeting we reviewed our current status:
1. Location & amenities …....check
2. Snacks….check
3. Volunteers for set up & tear down….check
4. Contributors…... check, room for more
5. Speaker…...check
6. Advertising…..check
7. Flyer distribution…...could use more help
8. Raffle/drawing prizes…...need someone to get donations
9. Person to write correspondence/thank yous to contributors…...check
10. Door greeters…..check, could use rovers
11. HOPE 4 MS table attendant…check
There is still need for help with a few things as you can see and if anyone can volunteer please let us know by dropping a note at http://www.hopefourms@yahoo.com.
We are very excited about presenting this showcase of local providers of services available to us in one location rather than having to seek these things out individually. We look forward to our speaker, Dr. John Schaefer, Neurologist brought to us by the National MS Society.
This is the first event of it’s kind in the Northstate with focus on the MS Community. 10:00 – Dr. Schaefer will be speaking to us about topics of direct interest. From 12 – 3 the open house will provide local disability resources as well as much educational information from the MS Society. Tell your friends & family that this is a great opportunity to learn more about MS!
We will have a speaker at our next meeting April 4th and will send details later.
